NASA Regional Planetary Image Facility (EPIF)
The NASA Planetary Geology and Geophysics Program co-sponsors a regional planetary image facility (RPIF).
This facility functions as a library of planetary image data and associated information.
There are a total of 17 such facilities that contain nearly half a million planetary images.
The facility maintains photographic copies and digital data.
In addition it offers workstations for users to conduct on-site image and cartographic processing.
The facility's general holdings, contains images of planets and their satellites taken from both
Earth and space, together with topographic and geologic maps produced from these images.
In addition we hold a wide variety of images of Earth used in current research projects.
